In May 2012, Diabetes UK took volenteers to Westminster to campaign for improvements in diabetes care. The campaigners met with MP's and told of their concerns that were to be fed back to Paul Burstow MP - the minister responsible for diabetes care. A paper is expected to be published later this year stating the governments way of tackling these issues.
Diabetes UK also launched their State of the Nation Report which highlights the difference in care across the UK.
